Ashley Martin - Interim Executive General Manager
Ashley is a mining executive with more than 20 years
of construction and mine development experience, including 8 years in the
vanadium sector. His recent roles spanning mining projects in Canada, Guyana,
Peru, Ecuador, and Western Australia, with a strong focus on supporting early‑stage
exploration and mining activities through to commercial operations. He holds a
Bachelor of Engineering.
Doug Marshall - Project Manager
Doug has more than 40 years of experience
delivering major construction projects in the resources sector, including
recent work on pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical plants in Western
Australia across commodities such as lithium and rare earths. Doug previously
held Project Manager roles with Rio Tinto, Iluka and Western Mining with
responsibility for projects up to A$1.3 billion. He holds a Bachelor of
Mechanical Engineering.
Brett Foster - General Manager - Operations
Brett brings more than 25 years of combined leadership,
operational, and development experience in the mining industry, supported by a
strong technical foundation in both metallurgical and mechanical engineering.
He has held senior operational leadership roles across mining operations in
Australia, Papua New Guinea, and South Africa, working across a broad range of
commodities including gold, copper, ilmenite, and vanadium.
He has more than 12 years of specialised experience in the
vanadium sector, offering deep operational, technical, and development
expertise. Brett has worked with Rhoex, Xstrata, PMA, and now Atlantic,
contributing to major projects at both Rhovan and Windimurra. His experience
spans the full project and operational lifecycle — studies, design, construction, commissioning, production, sales, technical improvement, and operational leadership.
