Ashley Martin - Interim Executive General Manager

Doug Marshall - Project Manager

Doug has more than 40 years’ experience in the design and construction of mining and industrial projects in Australia and internationally.

Doug is currently the Project Manager responsible for the upgrade of the Windimurra vanadium plant and infrastructure and for bringing the project into production.

Prior to joining Atlantic in February 2019, Doug’s roles have included owners’ team, EPCM and contractor roles in both lump sum and reimbursable contract delivery environments. Recent relevant experience in Western Australia include the role of General Manager Projects for MSP Engineering managing a $1 billion portfolio across Talison’s Greenbushes lithium plant and construction of Tianqi’s lithium hydroxide refinery at Kwinana.

Doug has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and is a member of the Australian Institute of Project Management and the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.

Brett Foster - General Manager - Operations

Brett is a metallurgist with over 20 years’ experience in the mining industry and is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, with qualifications in mechanical engineering, project, HR and business management. He has worked throughout Australia, Papua New Guinea and South Africa in gold, copper, ilmenite and vanadium.

Brett’s extensive vanadium experience was gained from early roles with Rhombus Vanadium (Rhovan) in South Africa and with the original Windimurra development. Brett brings significant experience from having been involved during the original construction, commissioning and operation of the Windimurra project with Xstrata.
